What does the table measure?

The table reports enterprises using at least one AI technology within the Eurostat 2025 survey scope. It does not measure employees trained and is not limited to generative AI. The scope excludes microenterprises and does not cover every economic sector.

How can your team use these figures?

A national rate describes a group of enterprises. It does not establish your team’s position. Instead, list relevant tasks, approved tools, repeated uses and checking difficulties.

For a learning programme, ask what participants need to be able to do. An adoption statistic alone does not justify a tool purchase or programme choice.

How can you assess an experiment?

Choose a representative task and a result you can check. Record the starting point, method, review and corrections required. Then decide whether the attempt should be repeated.

Report observations with their scope. A test on one task or a small group should not be generalised to the whole organisation.

FAQ

What else should you know?

Are these 2026 figures?

The report was published in 2026, but the observations concern 2025. Keep the two dates distinct.

Are small businesses included?

The scope used here starts at ten people employed. Do not apply the rate directly to microenterprises.

Do the figures demonstrate productivity gains?

No. Technology use does not measure the outcome achieved on a task or in an organisation.

Are these WeGoTo results?

No. They are Eurostat data and are not presented as WeGoTo client results or case studies.
